Meet the Author

Alex Sarama shares contemporary skill acquisition ideas for coaches, practitioners, organisations and federations all over the world. His focus is on helping coaches combine their personal and practical experiences with the empirical evidence which exists within the field of skill acquisition. Many of the ideas that Alex shares are based upon the constraints-led approach (CLA) underpinned by ecological dynamics (EcoD).

Alex has consulted for a variety of NBA, NCAA and professional teams. His work has been adopted by coaches at all levels of the game, with the delivery of coaching clinics and player camps in over 40 countries. This has included running coach education events for the German, Polish, Saudi Arabian, Swedish, Czech and Norwegian Basketball Federations.
